About the LIGCA
The London International Gallery of Children's Art (LIGCA) was
founded in 1993 at Southbank International School in Hampstead.
In 1999 we moved to a small gallery space, donated by the O2 Centre
which was officially opened by Glenda Jackson, MP for Hampstead
and Highgate.
In October 2008 we moved to our lovely new venue in Waterlow Park
Centre, Highgate, donated by Camden Council.
The LIGCA hosts exhibitions of children's art from every corner
of the world including artwork by local children. We run a schools
education programme relating to these exhibitions, including exhibition
tours, workshops in the gallery and outreach work. Out of school
hours, we offer an exciting range of art workshops and courses catering
for 2-12 year olds.
